This stall has received many awards which includes the Singapore Best Food Award and many stars have visited the stall back in Newton.

Seems like a delicious plate of Prawn Noodle ( Hokkien Mee)

Looks can be deceiving! We were eagerly awaiting this plate of hokkien mee from this very stall which had apparently shifted from Newton Circus hawker centre and close examination at the past pictures taken with the stars showed that this is the very same chef that once operated in Newton Circus.

There was a rather busy queue of customers waiting for their food and it seemed to us that we were queuing up for the right food. The hokkien mee was nicely laid on a shiny black plate but the first bite at the noodles simply took all our excitement away. The noodles was almost tasteless and it tasted just a bit better than frying the noodles with water! =p

Well, we'll give them a second chance the next time we happen to pop by Kallang Leisure Park again and we hope it'll be worth our $3.50 the next time round.
