A must try! Award winning popiah stall with a great variety of taste (Cheese, chicken, washabi, otar etc)

There is a great variety of food found in this ever popular food centre in Singapore and many stalls have actually won multiple awards. Our experience shows that having many recognised award winning certificates pasting on their stalls can be deceiving or rather they may have become more complacent after winning all these awards =p

Our favourite stall is definitely the popiah stall that serves a great variety of popiah and they were so tasty that we kept ordering more till they closed at around 1am =p The owners are very nice and friendly and they actually recommended us to a few other stalls, should we again come the next time .

The milkcurds are not too sweet and they are definitely a great after-meal dessert to get rid of the congested taste on your taste buds! The milkcurd is very smooth and one can actually choose different toppings to enhance the taste. We were left disappointed with the multiple award winning stall selling the XO prawn noodles ($12!) as there wasn't even any taste of XO at all. The noodles served tasted messy and soggy with their sauce and the only plus point can only be the generous serving of oysters. We also tried a few other dishes from the other stalls with a follow-up trip and found them to be quite appetising (No pictures as it was very dark and we did not have proper camera with us!) Overall, its still a great place for supper-goers =)

Hi Dora, its $12 if i remember correctly that's the min price for the XO prawn mee. But there's no XO taste in the noodle as mentioned in the comment. There are much better prawn noodle stalls at chomp chomp =) Take care!
